Job Description

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., a multi-office national law firm, is seeking a Paralegal to join our Atlanta office. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in civil litigation, specifically supporting attorneys in general liability, trucking/transportation, automobile negligence, premises liability, and cargo-related claims. This is an hybrid position requiring strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a collaborative approach to case management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support attorneys in all aspects of case development, discovery, and trial preparation

  • Organize and review documentary evidence, including medical records, incident reports, and investigative materials

  • Draft pleadings, discovery responses, motions, subpoenas, and other legal correspondence

  • Assist in deposition and trial preparation, including the creation of trial notebooks and exhibit lists

  • Coordinate with clients, expert witnesses, court personnel, and opposing counsel

  • Manage court deadlines, scheduling, and maintain up-to-date case calendars

  • Monitor case progress and escalate time-sensitive issues to attorneys

  • Conduct background research on parties, witnesses, and experts

  • Handle document production, record requests, and subpoena tracking

Requirements

  • 3+ years of paralegal experience in insurance defense or civil litigation, preferably in trucking or general liability

  • Familiarity with Georgia state and federal court procedures and e-filing systems

  • Strong legal writing and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and case management tools

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Paralegal certificate or legal studies training preferred
