Senior Litigation Paralegal – Catastrophic Injury Defense - On-Site, Miami, FL

Cole, Scott & Kissane, P.A. (CSK) is seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented litigation paralegal to join our Miami office, supporting attorneys who handle catastrophic injury matters, including cases involving children, wrongful death, and sexual abuse.

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and has extensive experience managing complex, high-exposure cases and assisting attorneys through all stages of litigation.

Qualifications:

• Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) designation or NALA Certified Paralegal (CP) required
• 7+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in catastrophic injury or high-exposure cases
• Extensive experience handling circuit court litigation
• Strong experience with medical record review and case analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Westlaw
• Familiarity with Litify, iManage, or other case/document management software (preferred) 

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional who can support attorneys through all phases of complex litigation, from case inception through trial. Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and analyzing medical, educational, and investigative records
• Preparing and managing subpoenas for records and witnesses
• Drafting and managing discovery requests and discovery responses
• Preparing initial disclosures, witness lists, and exhibit lists
• Coordinating and organizing large volumes of records and case materials
• Assisting with trial preparation, including compiling trial notebooks and exhibits
• Communicating with experts, witnesses, and vendors as needed
• Supporting attorneys in managing catastrophic claims involving sensitive and complex issues

 Important: This is an on-site position.  Remote work is not available.  Candidates must currently reside in South Florida.
