Attorney - Salt Lake City, UT

We are seeking a Utah licensed attorney for litigation matters in Utah that will be supported by a team of attorneys and non-attorney professionals in the firm's Atlanta office. While this position is initially remote, the firm expects to open and staff a physical office in Salt Lake City, UT in early 2026. Once the UT office is established, this position transitions to in-person.  While remote, the position may require in court and virtual court appearances.

Aubrey Thrasher, LLC is a national collections and creditors' rights law firm. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Aubrey Thrasher represents banks, non-bank lenders, credit unions, equipment finance companies and other financial institutions in the collection of commercial and consumer debt. Aubrey Thrasher's attorneys file litigation and post-judgment actions directly in eight (8) states and nationally through a network of law firms.

Qualifications:

· Utah bar license

· Minimum 3+ years of experience in litigation within Utah courts

· Knowledge of creditors' rights and collection law preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

· Manage commercial collection litigation cases filed in Utah. The position will be supported by a team of experienced non-attorney professionals.

· Appear in court and at depositions as necessary and locally to attorney's residence

· Communicate with clients on case status and strategy

· Collaborate with attorneys and team leads firm-wide on case management, policies and    procedures, and business development

Location:

· Must be based in the Salt Lake City area

· Position will initially be remote with the expectation of transitioning to in-person once an office is established in the Salt Lake City area

Salary:
