The Settlement Administrator is responsible for managing a high volume of settled cases efficiently and effectively. This role involves proactive follow-up, providing regular updates to clients, ALG staff members, and defense attorneys.
Additionally, the Settlement Administrator will review, edit, and secure signatures on all settlement-related documents while maintaining a high standard of customer service. They will also ensure that all case management system (CMS) files are consistently updated and accurately maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a high volume of settled cases.
- Communicating updates to clients, ALG staff, and defense attorneys.
- Editing and finalizing settlement documents.
- Securing required signatures in a timely manner.
- Delivering exceptional customer service.
- Keeping CMS files current and accurate.
- Data entry
- Multi-tasking
- Other essential duties as required.
- 1+ years of experience in worker's compensation or legal field (preferred)
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) (preferred)
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Knowledge of CA Workers’ Compensation Laws (Preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, with ability to observe details on a computer or other electronic screens.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, and Teams
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently with little supervision
- Client focused, with the commitment to outstanding customer service and the ability to deliver results.
