The Senior Associate General Counsel will focus on supporting the growth, operations, and acquisitions of our medical group. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in healthcare law, with expertise in physician contracting, medical group operations, and healthcare transactions. This role will also involve supporting a range of legal matters across the system, making this a vital and versatile position within our team.

Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on medical group growth initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other transactions.
- Advise leadership on healthcare operations and regulatory compliance across the medical group.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements related to healthcare services, physician contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with leadership on corporate governance, risk management, and policy development.
- Support general legal matters within the medical group and as needed across the health system.
- Stay current with changes in healthcare regulations and advise on their implications for the organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Assists the Vice President and Deputy General Counsel by handling complex legal matters or projects as assigned.
- May assist in overseeing Assistant General Counsel and/or outside Counsel.

- Doctor of Law (JD) Required
Work Experience:
- 7+ years related experience in healthcare operations, physician practice operations, and/or transactions. Required
- Corporate law. Required
- Healthcare law. Preferred
Licenses:
- Licensed Attorney in the State of Pennsylvania within 180 days Required
