Our dynamic and growing organization is seeking a skilled and experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join our legal team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's employment practices and maintaining positive labor/union relations. As a key member of the legal team, the Associate General Counsel – Labor & Employment, will provide strategic guidance, legal expertise, and proactive solutions to ensure compliance with labor and employment laws and regulations, mitigate risks, and foster a fair and inclusive work environment.
YOUR IMPACT
- Responsible for all labor and employment matters involving the company including all required quarterly reporting to senior management.
- Provide strategic counsel on labor and employment issues, including employee relations, immigration, union affairs, and benefits.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee investigations and disputes related to employment matters.
- Advise on labor relations strategies, including contract negotiations, grievances, arbitration, and unfair labor practice charges.
- Partner with HR and Compliance teams to implement workforce policies and strategies.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and stakeholders across the organization.
- Work closely with outside counsel to manage employment litigation and labor negotiations efficiently.
- Develop and implement training programs on labor and employment compliance.
- Monitor emerging employment law trends and assess their impact on the business.
- Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Juris Doctorate degree from an Accredited Law School.
- Eight (8) or more years of relevant law firm and/or in-house experience.
- Ability to travel 25%.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
- Expertise in U.S. labor and employment laws, with exposure to global employment regulations.
- Proven ability to manage employment disputes, investigations, and litigation.
- Strong track record of advising business leaders on HR and employment-related matters.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

Pay Range:
$151,400.00 - $272,600.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
