Gorilla Mind (gorillamind.com) is a fast-growing, innovative eCommerce brand specializing in fitness and health supplements. Our product lineup includes pre-workout formulas, protein powders, nootropics, energy drinks, and other lifestyle products designed to help individuals optimize both their mental and physical performance.
We are looking for a Corporate Paralegal to join our team and provide key legal support to our in-house legal and intellectual property (IP) counsel. This role will primarily focus on contract management and intellectual property matters, ensuring our legal processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management:
Manage various contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, and service contracts.
Maintain and organize contract databases, ensuring compliance with key contractual obligations.
Intellectual Property (IP):
Assist in managing Gorilla Mind’s IP portfolio, including trademark filings and renewals.
Conduct IP due diligence and support IP transactions.
Monitor social media and online platforms for potential trademark infringements.
Maintain IP records and databases while tracking important filing deadlines.
General Legal & Corporate Support:
Organize and maintain legal documents and files.
Support corporate governance efforts as needed.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Handle additional legal and administrative tasks as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department (preferred).
Hands-on experience managing contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and tracking agreements.
Familiarity with intellectual property management, including trademarks, filings, renewals, and infringement monitoring.
Strong contract drafting and editing skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
High attention to detail with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $65,000 - 75,000 per year depending on experience. The total compensation package may include performance bonuses, benefits, and other applicable incentives.
