Job Description
What You’ll Do: Join a nationally ranked litigation team representing major players in fintech, financial services, and consumer lending. This role is ideal for a litigation associate who thrives in fast-evolving legal areas—working at the intersection of finance, technology, and data privacy. You’ll handle high-impact commercial disputes and regulatory matters, partner directly with clients, and contribute to strategy on some of the most pressing legal issues in the industry.
  • Represent financial institutions, fintechs, and lenders in commercial litigation and regulatory defense
  • Handle matters involving consumer finance laws, privacy statutes, and enforcement by agencies like the CFPB, FTC, and OCC
  • Draft motions, discovery, and legal opinions tied to emerging issues in tech-driven finance
  • Support litigation strategies, settlement negotiations, and compliance assessments
  • Collaborate across offices on multi-jurisdictional cases and client-facing projects
  • Advise clients on litigation risks and regulatory innovation
Experience You'll Need:
  • 3–5 years of commercial litigation experience (financial services background highly valued)
  • Familiarity with federal and state court procedure, motion practice, and legal research
  • Experience advising or litigating on fintech, privacy, or regulatory matters a plus
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Admitted in Texas (or eligible for waiver)
 Why this role stands out
  • Collaborate on high-profile, multi-state litigation tied to cutting-edge financial regulation
  • Work with forward-thinking clients in fintech, AI, and digital lending
  • Join a team known for mentorship, strategic litigation, and industry visibility
