Job Description

The Graphic Design intern’s initial primary role will be to create social graphics for a variety of clients within the professional services industry (primarily attorneys and dentists) on behalf of a growing digital marketing agency. As you grow comfortable in your role and with our company’s structure, there will be opportunities to pursue a variety of different design subsets: From print materials, branding, web design, and more.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s in Graphic Design or current upperclass members of a design program.
  • Graphic design portfolio 
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, required
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, preferred

Skills needed for this position: 

  • Proficient knowledge about typography & hierarchy, the fundamental principles of graphic design and how to apply them, and creating unique and balanced compositions. 
  • Time management and communication skills.
  • Self discipline since this is a remote position.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive critiques for design deliverables.

This is a part-time internship position for approximately 20-25 hours a week for 2-3 months with a weekly stipend of $250. Applications for this position are rolling and the start-date and weekly schedule for this role can be arranged to accommodate class schedule. 

This position is remote and we prefer candidates to be in the following states where Market My Market already has a presence: Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Candidates outside of this list will not be considered.

Market My Market has a physical office in Charlotte, NC. Candidates located in the area are encouraged to join our team at least one day a week in the office with the team.
