What You’ll Do

DeepIntent is looking for a Contracts Manager/Sr Paralegal to join its Legal Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the full lifecycle of the company’s contracting process from initiation to completion as well as support attorneys across the team.  You will report to the Senior Vice President of Privacy and Legal Affairs and collaborate with and support attorneys on the Legal Team.

DeepIntent has adopted a remote-enabled work model with the option to work from our NYC office. We are seeking a Contracts Manager/Sr Paralegal who is local to the New York area. The team is also open to a candidate based in Los Angeles/Irvine California area. Candidates outside the East Coast will be asked to match as closely to EST working hours as possible (e.g., 7am PST start time).

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Implement and manage contract management system and lifecycle to improve and ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability of the contracting process.  
  • Provide daily contracting support, including reviewing, developing, and preparing agreements such as vendor agreements, NDAs, statements of work, and amendments.
  • Assist in developing and refining legal documents, including contract templates, clauses, policies, notice letters, and processes to improve business efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct legal research on contract interpretation and compliance risks, and provide business-friendly guidance.
  • Coordinate and manage Legal projects, liaising between team members to manage expectations and ensuring timely completion and alignment with objectives.
  • Support and improve processing of requests for information, requests for proposals, and vendor due diligence.
  • Maintain and update contract information and archiving for easy retrieval, tracking, and accuracy of records.  
  • Develop guidance and facilitate training on contract and compliance-related topics that support operational efficiency.
  • Review business documents for adherence to internal guidelines.
  • Provide general support to the Legal Team.

Who You Are: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited US college/university required, and an ABA-accredited paralegal certificate is preferred;
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, paralegal, or similar experience within a law firm or legal department with experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts (DUAs a plus);
  • Team player with exceptional written and verbal communication and organization skills;
  • Proven ability to lead and prioritize multiple projects/deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proactive with strong analytical skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment;
  • Experience in technology, advertising, AdTech, and/or digital media is a big plus;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Ironclad or similar software;
  • Potential travel up to once a quarter;
  • Great sense of humor and a love of good food is a plus!

DeepIntent is proud to offer a competitive compensation package inclusive of a base salary range of $80,000- $120,000. The base salary range takes into consideration each candidates skills, experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a 10% annualized bonus plan and competitive benefits as well as many other company offerings.
