An innovative and fast-growing law firm in northwest Miami-Dade County, FL is seeking an experienced pre-litigation attorney to provide exceptional support and service to achieve outstanding results for their legal team and clients.

  • Compensation: Starts at $95K-175K (DOE) + benefits + professional growth

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Full Litigation Lifecycle Management: Oversee all stages of personal injury cases, from initial case commencement through to final judgment.
  • Commercial Property and Liability Expertise: Skillfully manage CPL claims, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
  • Procedural Compliance: Guarantee strict adherence to established operational protocols and standards.
  • Pre-Trial Case Development: Strategically prepare and position cases for successful litigation outcomes.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Supervise and guide support staff, including litigation assistants, paralegals, and CPL case specialists.
  • Client Intake and Assessment: Evaluate potential client cases and conduct comprehensive initial assessments.
  • Advanced Legal Research and Record Keeping: Perform thorough legal research and maintain comprehensive case documentation.
  • Insurance Company Liaison: Serve as the principal point of contact for insurance carriers.
  • Legal Document Preparation: Draft and refine legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Alternative Dispute Resolution: Prepare for and participate in mediation and settlement negotiations.
  • Witness and Client Preparation: Conduct witness interviews and depositions, and prepare clients for deposition testimony.
  • Trial Advocacy: Represent clients effectively in court proceedings, providing strong advocacy.
  • Client Consultation and Coverage Analysis: Provide expert legal advice and investigate insurance coverage issues.
  • Medical Case Management: Oversee the medical aspects of client cases, coordinating with healthcare providers.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Relevant Experience: 3+ years of demonstrated experience in personal injury litigation
  • Claim Valuation Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of claim valuation methodologies.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Proven dedication to prioritizing client service and representation.
  • Communication Proficiency: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Detail-Oriented and Organized: Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Adaptability and Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic, team environment.
  • Bar Admission: Active membership in the Florida State Bar (multistate bar admissions considered favorably).
  • Legal Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an American Bar Association (ABA) accredited institution.
