- DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Legal Assistant 2, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing investigation reports and related documents. Your duties will include reviewing and examining violation letters and related Incident and Administrative Investigation Reports for compliance with the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. In this position, you will manage an assigned caseload of complex and in-depth investigations, maintain an in-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations, and handle sensitive and confidential matters. You can expect to prepare case summaries for presentation to the bureau director and legal team. Additionally, you will review and evaluate involved legal documents to determine if the documents are contrary to the requirements of laws, regulations, and existing departmental policies.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

- REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Legal Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of responsible clerical, investigative or enforcement work including one year of legal clerical support experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
