Role Summary:
Our Marketing Paralegal will deliver wide-ranging legal support to our firm's internal marketing department. Under the supervision of our attorneys, this role will safeguard all client-facing legal marketing activities for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, state bar rules, and internal policies. To succeed with us, you must have extensive experience reviewing marketing materials, handling compliance issues, and working in partnership with cross-functional teams to mitigate legal risks. Our ideal candidate must have exceptional judgment, a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to provide practical legal support to the marketing team so they can achieve commercial goals at a fast pace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve marketing and advertising materials, blog posts, website content and client communications to ensure compliance with legal standards and firm policies;
- Devise appropriate disclaimers, disclosures and other legal requirements for marketing campaigns;
- Develop and deliver training for marketing and other departments on legal issues related to firm marketing activities;
- Keep the marketing department informed about changes in laws and regulations impacting legal marketing strategies; and
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on issues related to law firm marketing and advertising.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field, plus a Paralegal Certificate ;
- Five (5) to ten (10) years of paralegal work experience, preferably with large business clients in the consumer products, food and beverage, banking, mortgage or personal injury law firm industries;
- Familiar with the Google and MS Suites;
- Must be highly organized;
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment preferred; and
- Ability to communicate and work well within a team environment .

- This full-time position works typical business hours from our Scottsdale, AZ office.
- Your day is filled with video conference meetings to ensure smooth functioning, followed by analysis and implementation where needed to serve client needs. There is a mix between collaborative group project work and independent execution of your piece of the project.
- Your contribution is critical to the legal operations within our high volume, fast-paced law firm.
