Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Legal Intern to support our Legal Team in organizing, cataloging, and maintaining our company’s contract records. The primary responsiblity of this role is to collect, and create a comprehensive and searchable database of all existing company contracts. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational and analytical skills, who is comfortable working independently and possesses proficiency in Excel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Locate and gather all existing contracts across all corporate departments
• Create and maintain a structured and searchable contract database using Excel
• Review and catalog certain contract details including dates, renewal conditions, termination provisions and more
• Work with the Legal Team to clarify contract-related questions and analyze certain contract details
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality throughout the project
• Other duties as assigned
This position is not remote and based out of the corporate office in Plano,TX
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a current undergraduate student
- Prior legal experience is not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay = $16.00 to $19.00 hour
- $16 - $19/hour
