
Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. (QPWB), a multi-office national law firm, is seeking a full-time Legal Assistantto join our growing Houston, Texas office. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with experience supporting attorneys in real estate law, business development, commercial transactions, and estate planning.

Job Summary:
As a Legal Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting attorneys with transactional work including document preparation, deadline tracking, client communication, and file management. The successful candidate is organized, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced legal setting.
Responsibilities:
Draft and format legal documents including contracts, deeds, wills, trusts, and corporate filings under attorney supervision
Assist with real estate closings and transaction documentation
Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files and internal tracking systems
Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and track critical deadlines
Coordinate with title companies, clients, financial institutions, and vendors
Prepare documents for e-filing and agency submissions, as needed
Communicate with clients and assist with intake and administrative tasks
Use Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and document management systems for daily work
Qualifications:
2–5+ years of experience as a legal assistant supporting attorneys in transactional law
Experience with Texas real estate and estate planning procedures is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
High School Diploma or equivalent required; paralegal certification or legal coursework is a plus

Working Conditions:
This position is located primarily in an indoor office environment with varying noise levels. Employees may occasionally be required to lift up to 20 pounds and perform standard office duties such as sitting, walking, and using office equipment for extended periods of time.
