Labor & Employment Attorney

Cole Scott & Kissane seeks a labor and employment attorney.

Responsibilities: 

• Handle matters involving employment-related claims
• Take and defend depositions 
• Draft and argue dispositive motions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
• Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients

Qualifications: 

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience preferred, preferably in labor and employment law
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
