Salary
General Summary:
- The Senior Systems Engineer role is to ensure the stable operation of both private & public cloud applications and infrastructure systems. This includes planning, developing, implementing & configuring, maintaining, and optimizing all datacenter hardware, related software, and communication systems. This role also involves analyzing and resolving infrastructure related issues in a timely and accurate manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and maintain private/public cloud infrastructure: Example include EntraID, Hyper-converged infrastructure, Windows Servers & clusters, Exchange 2016/2019/S.E., M365 Suite, Citrix, SQL Server, Disaster recovery systems, etc.
- Monitor, repair and maintain infrastructure applications, includes upgrades, patches, migrations, and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot issues affecting all infrastructure related systems.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Expert knowledge on a wide range of infrastructure applications and systems: Examples include Virtual infrastructure systems (Nutanix, VMware, etc.), Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange 2016/2019/S.E. & Exchange Online, Citrix, Microsoft Clustering, file sharing systems, and Disaster recovery strategies.
Required Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Ten (10) years of experience managing enterprise information system technologies.
Hours:
- Standard work hours - Monday-Friday, 8:00a.m. 5:00p.m. CST. Flexibility required to provide before & after-hours support for maintenance, incidents and/or upgrades [depending on operational requirements]
Salary Range:
- $110k - $119k per year (depending on experience and qualifications)
