Position Summary:
Boyd & Jenerette is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Support Specialist to join our legal team. Location & Commitments:
- Practice Area / Department: Litigation
- Status: Full-Time / Non-Exempt
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week.
- Work Location: In-Office: This position will report to work at our office in Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Draft legal documents, including but not limited to:
- Discovery shells
- Legal correspondence and letters
- Subpoenas
- Propounded discovery requests
- Requests for copies and records
- Prepare and manage the e-filing of legal documents with state and federal courts.
- Serve legal documents in compliance with court rules and procedures.
- Coordinate document production and support discovery processes.
- Maintain accurate records of filings, service, and communications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Competencies:
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and legal research databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in administrative tasks and legal documentation.
- Strong time management skills; able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
