Job Description

Amazon Legal seeks an attorney to join the Amazon Health Services Legal Team supporting Amazon One Medical. The Associate Corporate Counsel's work will include addressing healthcare regulations, evaluating new business opportunities and supporting client teams in healthcare operations and billing. The successful candidate will demonstrate the combination of legal expertise and practical sensibility needed to be a trusted partner to our clients and to mitigate key legal and reputational risks for our business. You will collaborate and work seamlessly across legal and business teams, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to address the challenges and opportunities of our growing healthcare business.

Key job responsibilities
● Advise teams developing new clinical service lines and other key business partners on healthcare and other applicable regulations.
● Create scalable strategies for businesses to work quickly based on extensible legal advice.
● Consult and collaborate with business leaders as a strategic partner to their team.
● Effectively utilize outside counsel and advisors.
● Collaborate with our broader legal team and cross-functional colleagues to deliver timely, clear, and solutions-oriented advice to the business


- 2+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines

- 2+ years experience working with healthcare regulations, healthcare technology, or healthcare clients.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $195,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
