Associate Attorney

Description

We are a rapidly growing law firm in Providence, Rhode Island.

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our office. Candidates must have a minimum of three years of litigation experience and be licensed to practice law in Rhode Island.

The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of civil litigation, including:

• Conducting and defending depositions
• Drafting and arguing motions
• Performing legal research and analysis
• Attending court conferences and hearings
• Managing client communications and counseling
• Participating in settlement negotiations and mediations
• Preparing cases for trial and participating in trial proceedings

This position offers the opportunity to assume significant responsibility and work directly with clients, insurers, and experienced litigators on complex matters.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
• Active admission to the Rhode Island Bar (required)
• Minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience
• Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills
• Strong oral advocacy and communication abilities
• Proven case management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Massachusetts and/or Connecticut Bar admission is a plus
