This client has a very fast-paced practice and the position will handle cases in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. They also offer top salary $110-$125k and benefits, along with yearly bonuses. Successful candidate must live in Louisville Metro area
Highlighted Duties:
Highlighted Duties:
- Handle caseload from inception to completion.
- Advise clients concerning their claims or defense of claims, legal rights and obligations.
- Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for clients
- Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.
- Investigate, interview and gather evidence to formulate defense.
- Prepare and draft legal documents including briefs and opinions.
- Negotiate settlements and mediations.
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions.
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports.
Highlighted Requirements:
- 3+ years of injury litigation experience.
- Must have KY or IN license and the ability to obtain the other.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced but team oriented environment.
- Experience with discovery, depositions, pleadings, research, investigations and mediation.
- Must be able to communicate often to clients and other providers.
