Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced Corporate Counsel to support Amazon's North America Stores business, with a focus on Consumer Electronics categories. Key job responsibilities
• Support business leaders as lead counsel on product decisions
• Provide day-to-day customer-focused advice and legal support to business and tech teams.
• Develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, efficient, and business-centric ways
• Counsel on regulatory matters
• Handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
