Clark Hill PLC’s Lansing office is seeking an experienced Real Estate/Transactional Legal Administrative Assistant. This position is full-time and will provide administrative support for our Real Estate Business Unit. Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of real estate and transactional experience. This position provides backup support to attorneys in the Litigation Business Unit and litigation experience is desired, This position reports to the Office Manager, as well as assigned attorneys, and is responsible for providing the requisite legal secretarial and administrative support (clerical) needs of assigned attorneys; preparation, editing, formatting and comparing of letters, memos, and other documentation as required; entering conflict information into the system for the purpose of running conflict checks for new clients as well as preparation of supporting documentation; docketing of dates into a central docketing system; making travel arrangements; preparing expense reimbursement documentation; inputting attorney time; maintaining a system of filing for all attorney work and client information; providing documentation, as required, to clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills. The candidate selected for this position must be accustomed to working in a highly-productive environment. This position provides assistance to attorneys predominantly in the real estate area, but with the ability and willingness to help attorneys and others in litigation and other areas as well. Minimum Requirements:
The salary range at the time of posting is $50,000-$55,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
