Bonezzi Switzer Polito & Perry Co. LPA, a mid-sized professional and general liability defense firm with a statewide presence, is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Cleveland office.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of meaningful litigation experience and be responsible for legal research, brief writing, managing complex discovery, taking depositions, and assisting lead counsel in preparing for and participating in court hearings and trials.

Salary is commensurate with experience.

• 3–5 years of litigation experience (insurance defense experience preferred)
   
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
   
• Ability to manage cases independently and efficiently
   
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
   
• Strong work ethic and a proactive, low-maintenance attitude
   
• High level of professionalism and adherence to ethical standards
   
• Skilled in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting legal data
   
• Familiarity with legal research databases and case management tools
   
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other legal software
   

• Conduct legal research and provide analysis
   
• Represent clients in a variety of legal proceedings
   
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and legal memoranda
   
• Prepare legal reports, correspondence, and related documents
   
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation and strategy
   

• Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline)
   
• Juris Doctor (JD)
   
• Active and valid Ohio Bar License
