Jr. Labor & Employment Associate

Practice Area: Labor & Employment Litigation (Management-side)

Location: Los Angeles, CA 90067

Schedule: Onsite | Full-time

Salary: $200k-$300k


The Client:

A globally recognized law firm is seeking to add Labor & Employment Junior Associates to its labor and employment litigation practice in Los Angeles. This opportunity arises from strategic expansion within a department highly regarded for its representation of Fortune 500 companies and other influential clients. The firm is known for its litigation strength, inclusive culture, and global reach across major markets.


Description:

Associates in this role will support a full spectrum of labor and employment matters. The position includes advising employers on compliance, handling single-plaintiff and class action disputes, conducting workplace investigations, and managing all aspects of litigation from discovery through trial. This is a hands-on opportunity with meaningful client interaction, mentorship from seasoned partners, and exposure to high-stakes matters in both the public and private sectors.


Day-to-day work will include drafting motions, depositions, client counseling, and representing employers in arbitration and court. The firm values entrepreneurial thinking and a client-service orientation, offering advancement opportunities for attorneys ready to grow with a team known for excellence.


Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
  • Admission to the California Bar in Good Standing
  • 2+ years in employment litigation and labor disputes,
  • Prior experience at a large or reputable law firm
  • Strong background in workplace counseling, litigation, and internal investigations
  • Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills
  • Proficiency managing discovery and eDiscovery platforms
  • Ability to work collaboratively in high-performing teams
  • Familiarity with workplace policy development, RIFs, and employment agreements preferred
