Trusts & Estates Attorney -- Indianapolis

Ice Miller is seeking an associate to join its Trusts & Estates Group. While estate planning experience would be preferred, applicants with at least two years’ experience in another technical, specialized area of practice would be considered.   The attorney will work on estate planning, estate and trust administration, business succession planning, charitable planning, and trust and estate litigation.  As part of that work, the attorney would be required to research and learn complex rules of gift, estate and generation skipping transfer tax.   Members of the group would offer training on this and other aspects of the practice, but there must be a desire and ability to work with and comprehend intricacies in complex tax law and a high attention to detail in document preparation.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
• Active law license in Indiana
• Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States
