JOB TITLE:

Corporate Paralegal   

DEPT:

BASIC SCOPE/PURPOSE 

 

Summary:  The Paralegal plays a key role at Staci Americas, a fast-paced and growing 3PL/e-commerce organization. This role will involve collaborating with legal teams to address issues related to freight agreements, warehouse operations, and international shipping laws. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential as you manage case files, maintain accurate documentation, and facilitate effective communication between various stakeholders.

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to logistics services, vendor agreements, and procurement.
  • Assist in the management of legal documents and contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Conduct legal research and gather necessary information to support corporate legal projects.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather information required for contract negotiations and compliance efforts.
  • Maintain and organize files, databases, and records related to contracts and other legal matters.
  • Assist in the preparation of corporate documents, including meeting minutes, resolutions, and compliance filings.
  • Monitor and track contract renewals, amendments, and expirations.
  • Provide support during audits and investigations, as necessary.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the logistics and transportation industry.

 

 

Qualifications / Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a corporate paralegal, with a focus on contract management.
  • Knowledge of logistics, transportation law, and compliance issues is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
