Contract -based DC Federal Litigation / Employment Attorney (Of Counsel) Opportunity - 5+ Hours/Week

Due to increased demand, we are now interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated DC -licensed Attorney<\/b> to provide of counsel / local counsel support for federal court matters<\/b>.
<\/p>

Remote work hours will vary, but are expected to be approximately 5+ hours per week.
<\/p>Attorney Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>
<\/h3>

• Serve as of counsel / local counsel for matters in DC Federal Court
  <\/li>
• Assist with managing active litigation matters
  <\/li>
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
  <\/li>
• Support case strategy and development
  <\/li>
• Make court appearances as needed
  <\/li>
• Collaborate with lead counsel and legal teams on case progression
  <\/li><\/ul>

  Attorney Requirements:<\/b><\/span>
  <\/h3>

  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Washington, DC
    <\/li>
  • Experience appearing in or supporting matters in Federal Court
    <\/li>
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
    <\/li>
  • Experience with general federal litigation
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Preferred Experience:<\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Employment law, including whistleblower retaliation matters
      <\/li>
    • General civil litigation with a federal court background
      <\/li>
    • Administrative law experience
      <\/li>
    • Government procurement / government contracts experience
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Our Attorney pay rate starts at $90/hour.
