Polsinelli’s Chicago office has an immediate opening for a Licensing Specialist to assist its Healthcare group with regulatory compliance. This is an on-site position.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Compile and submit, in a timely manner, regulatory documents according to regulatory requirements
• Provide regulatory advice to project teams.
• Respond to regulatory authorities’ questions with strict deadlines
• Maintain regulatory files in a format consistent with requirements
• Develop and initiate complex regulatory project plans
• Maintain and update existing regulatory authorizations
• Represent Regulatory Affairs in project teams
• Review promotional material for compliance with local regulations
• Ensure that confidentiality of information is kept to a high standard
• Maintain current knowledge regarding application legislation, guidelines, and client practices.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to independent judgment
• Scientific knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of regulations
• Ability to multitask and meet demanding deadlines
• Technical system skills (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, databases, online research)
• Ability to identify compliance risks and escalate when necessary
• Bachelor’s degree requiring the certificate program in paralegal studies or equivalent education helpful. 
• 1-2 years of experience working in a regulatory environment or healthcare-related field is a plus

The budgeted salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000.
