
Job Description
Job Duties will include:
- Manage electronic and paper files including client documents, pleadings, discovery materials, and other case documents; manage dockets and track calendar dates and deadlines; assist with electronic case filing in state and federal courts; draft appearances, pleadings, motions, and other legal documents; assist with trial, hearing, and deposition prep.
Position Requirements and Responsibilities
- Some legal process knowledge is helpful.
- Strong verbal communication skills to overcome objections and find opportunities to help patients resolve their outstanding balances.
- An inquisitive nature to uncover information that is not always obvious.
- Comfortable with computers and consider themselves to be a fast learner.
- Attention to detail for accurate information reporting into the database computer software system for further use in the recovery process.
- Must pass with a minimum of 85% the FDCPA tutorial as dictated by federal collection laws (yearly testing required)
