Job Description
Our client, a well-established and highly respected law firm, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and post-trial activities
- Draft, format, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- Manage and organize case files, exhibits, and trial materials
- Coordinate and assist with discovery processes, including document production and review
- Prepare for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Maintain case calendars and track deadlines to ensure timely filings
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings as needed
- Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Qualifications
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience (complex litigation experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of court rules, filing procedures, and litigation processes
- Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
