Join HubSpot's Legal Internship Program for a hands-on, in-house legal experience! This full-time Summer 10-week program (June–mid-August) offers opportunities to work across various legal areas, including commercial contracts, data privacy, intellectual property, and more! You will be assigned to a dedicated Manager and collaborate with Legal professionals across the company.
The program includes a formal orientation, Mentor assignments, and various learning opportunities. In addition to the work assignments within the assigned department, Interns also gain exposure to other non-legal HubSpotters through company events, networking activities, and engagement with our Employee Resource Groups.

In this role, you’ll get to:
- See what in-house legal practice is like for a fast-paced and global company.
- Work independently with the support of a HubSpot Legal team member.
- Work on a variety of projects across a range of practice areas.
- Support cross-functional business partners as needed by understanding company objectives and completing assignments.
We are looking for people who:
- Currently, are enrolled in an educational program pursuing a JD.
- Can work 40 hours a week, M-F, from June to Mid-August.
- Have a strong interest in obtaining in-house counsel experience in Tech.
- Have strong communication, legal research, and writing skills.
- Are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and possess superior organizational skills.
- Are self-starters with the ability to work independently on various projects.
- Can drive projects, take initiative, and enjoy collaborating with others.

Cash compensation range: 31 USD Hourly

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
