The base salary for this position typically ranges from $65,000 to $100,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, experience, job-related expertise, and geographic location. Position Summary:
The Paralegal will play a critical role in supporting the Legal Department in a wide range of matters including contract management, employment, risk management, compliance, corporate governance, and legal operations. This individual will work closely with the Senior Counsel and other internal senior leadership stakeholders to ensure legal and regulatory obligations are met while enabling efficient business operations.
What will you be doing:

Assist with the drafting, review, and tracking of contracts, NDAs, and other legal documents.

Maintain and manage the company’s contract lifecycle management system (CLM).

Liaise with HR, EH&S, and insurance adjuster(s) to coordinate and monitor the company’s workers’ compensation, including claims reporting, tracking, and follow up.

Maintain accurate and confidential records of workers’ compensation claims and related
documentation. -
Assist various departments with insurance-related inquiries, provide certificate of insurance, etc.

Coordinate legal filings and support compliance efforts in areas such as food law, labor & employment, environmental regulations, and data privacy.

Conduct legal research and summarize findings for internal use.

Support internal investigations and litigation, including discovery coordination and response to subpoenas.

Manage document retention and ensure proper organization of legal files and databases.

Liaise with cross-functional departments such as HR, Procurement, Compliance, and Operations on legal and policy matters.

Collaborate with outside counsel and assist in invoice tracking and legal spend reporting.

Provide occasional executive and administrative support to the Legal Director, including calendar management, travel coordination, meeting preparation, and handling confidential communications, as needed

Other duties as assigned by the Legal Director.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a paralegal in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Experience in a food, manufacturing, or CPG company is a plus.
- Strong understanding of contract law and corporate governance principles.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw), Microsoft Office Suite, Google Office Suie, and Lexion.
- Experience with contract management systems such as Lexion a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across departments.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
