
Development Assistant / Senior Real Estate Paralegal

Acquisitions / Development
- Perform in-depth industry, market, and competitor research
- Online research for deeds/ownership
- Administer acquisition/disposition portal
- Assist with project planning, entitlement and permitting
- Assist with project coordination, included but not limited to:
o Create, update, and maintain critical dates and deadline notification emails, circulating to relevant parties
to comply
o Track permit deadlines
o Track design team insurance
o Track outstanding bonds
o Coordinate post office addresses for new projects
o Coordinate signage for new and existing projects
- Compile construction to operations turnover manual
- Oversee building plan files
- Assist with due diligence for acquisitions and dispositions (including reviewing and abstracting all existing property-related contracts to be assumed in an acquisition, title and survey review)
- Attend various neighborhood, government and regional meetings
- Special project work as needed and assigned
- Assist and package Request for Proposal (RFP) and responses, ensuring compliance with requested requirements to include Surveying, Civil Engineer, Environmental Geotech Inspections, Landscape Engineer, Architect and any additional 3rd party correspondence as may be required.
- Investor portal maintenance
- Coordinate lender, investor and inspector property tours and documentation for review
Legal Coordination Assistance
- Assist with real estate closings
- Contract Administration, including but not limited to cable revenue share
- Assist with corporate/legal (organize new companies, issue stock, etc.)
- Assist with renters' and corporate insurance claims coordination
Executive Support/Office Management
- Handle copier purchasing/leasing/maintenance
- Website maintenance
- Coordinate and oversee annual corporate gifts
- Filter and organize all incoming communication - prioritize, respond and reschedule as needed
- Draft correspondence, return phone calls, etc.
- Taxes, tax comp research and maintain tax files
- Maintain corporate files
- Participate in volunteer activities on behalf of the Company
- Stonecrest Industrial Alliance
- Directly support senior management

Compensation:
Base salary starting at $70, 000. Opportunity for bonus based on performance. Exempt position.

- Paralegal certificate (preferred)
- 3-5 years in real estate development and/or paralegal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and document management systems
