This position provides hybrid telework opportunities and employees may be required to work in-person based on operational needs.

The Staff Service Manager provides administrative direction, policy guidance, and control of the Office of the Chief (includes Administrative Services, Statewide Operational Services, and the Office of Strategic Initiatives) within OPS.

The Staff Services Manager III ensures the OPS Chief’s projects and direction are planned and implemented through delegation to appropriate OPS staff. The manager directly and through subordinate managers, plans, organizes, sets goals and objectives as well as participates in the development of new initiatives and strategic planning. The Staff Services Manager III is responsible for directing the activities of the Office of the Chief statewide.
