Schedule: Remote/Hybrid, no billable requirements

Salary: 120,000−180,000 starting base salary.

Qualifications:

1. JD from an A.B.A. accredited law school and Florida Bar.
2. Minimum of 2.5 years of direct experience in workers compensation.law.
3. Technologically proficient (legal research, e-discovery, case management, centralized documentation, video conferences).
4. Ability to work remotely and travel as needed for networking events, client meetings, and conferences.

Job Duties:

1. Investigate claims of workplace injury and analyzing chapter 440 to apply relevant statutes in defense of insured clients
2. Drafting and filing legal documents timely and accurately, with adequate proficiency.
3. Take depositions of claimants and participate in mediations between employer and claimant, typically via video conference.
4. Regularly network with insurance brokers and agents, maintaining consistent communication with active clients
5. Manage a caseload of 30 to 60 cases monthly on average, with incentive to close a minimum of 5 cases per month.
