Billing Lead Specialist

We’re looking for a Lead Billing Specialist to join our team and take the lead in managing the firm’s billing operations. In this role, you’ll oversee daily billing activities, coordinate month-end processes, and ensure clients receive accurate and timely invoices. You’ll also serve as the point person for billing software administration, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvements.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily billing operations and month-end close processes
• Prepare, review, and send client invoices accurately and on time
• Manage billing and e-billing platforms, including setup, troubleshooting, and user access
• Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and firm policies
• Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client or attorney inquiries
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to streamline billing practices
• Train new team members on billing procedures and software use

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in law firm billing (lead or senior billing role preferred)
• Proficiency with legal billing and e-billing software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing invoices and financial data
• Technical ability to manage and troubleshoot billing systems
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
