Duties This position is located in The Staff Training Academy (STA), Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), Glynco, Ga. Primary responsibilities are to ensure, either through creation of relevant policy, direct provision, oversight and guidance to peers and field staff, etc., that the training and certification of all staff in cardiopulmonary response (CPR) and first aid is actualized. Serves as the BOP American Heart Association (AHA) Training Center (TC) Coordinator and is responsible for training a pool of CPR Instructors nationwide and ensuring their certification to teach local CPR courses (train the trainer model). Monitors local classes, assesses program needs, and/or problems, plans, designs, executes and evaluates training programs and projects to include budget development. Cultivates and mentors all current BOP instructors, new instructors and potential candidates for future instructors. Salary- $88,621 - $115,213/year
