Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team in our Chicago office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing personal injury cases from inception through trial, demonstrating strong advocacy skills and a deep understanding of personal injury law.

Key Responsibilities:

• Case Management: Oversee all aspects of personal injury litigation cases, including initial client consultations, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
• Trial Experience: Serve as an attorney in jury and bench trials, presenting compelling arguments and evidence to support client claims.
• Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates on case progress and advising them on legal options.
• Legal Research & Writing: Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiation: Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies to achieve optimal results for clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and other team members to ensure efficient case handling.
• Continuing Education: Stay updated on changes in personal injury law and litigation strategies through ongoing education and professional development.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Illinois.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Proven trial experience, with a history of successful outcomes.
• Strong understanding of personal injury laws, court procedures, and litigation strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional negotiation and advocacy abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
