JOB SUMMARY

 

Supports services to the District Attorney’s Office (DA Office) by providing complex data support through collecting, organizing and analyzing data for required grant reporting and record-keeping. Tracks accomplishments, goals, and data for the Survivor and Victim Services Division (SVSD) of the DA Office. Coordinates multidisciplinary case staffing processes and other services under the direction of DA Office leadership. Assists in identifying, writing and reporting on grants to support the DA Office. Responsible for overseeing data collection and grant reports of all grants in the DA Office.  Supports the DA Office’s communication efforts. Facilitates partnerships and collaborations internally and externally.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university plus four (4) years of directly related experience; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.

 

Preference given for following credentials: Certified Grant Administrator (CGA), Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS), Grant Professional Certification (GPC) or similar professional certification.

 

Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must successfully pass an initial criminal background check as well as every two years thereafter and continuously meet the requirements of the Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI).

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Writes grants to solicit funds for the DA Office.
  • Responsible for on-line grants management systems and data entry.
  • Assists with preparation of and compliance with contracts and agreements related to grants and other outside funding following Federal, State, and County requirements, policies and ordinances.
  • Assists with short- and long-term planning and program implementation.
  • Collects and records data in the DA Office database systems for a variety of victim program services; maintains records and assists with database quality assurance tasks to ensure data integrity.
  • Tracks DA Office program services, measurements and outcomes for program evaluation and required statistical federal and grant-reporting.
  • Assists with the development of forms and tracking tools and other methods of collecting and retrieving data.
  • Manages database entries, resolves discrepancies and assists in the development of tracking procedures.
  • Provides information as requested and compiles weekly, quarterly and annual reports per DA Office needs and grant requirements.
  • Creates and implements tools such as statistical reports, graphs, images, and lists to simplify complex data.
  • Reviews source documents for accuracy.
  • May assist with development of materials for the DA Office website, publications, social media, blog and other distributed materials.
  • Facilitates multidisciplinary team staffing’s as requested; coordinates the implementation of case action plans with allied agencies to ensure follow through.
  • Conducts post-adjudication outreach to victims of crime. Completes intakes and assessment with victims of crime, their families, and significant others to identify potential needs and screen for services.
  • Develops and maintains agency agreements for and training of multidisciplinary partners.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

May require lifting and carrying objects that require the ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
