Legal Billing Assistant - Accountant

This is a Direct Hire position for a Sr Billing Specialist or Accountant that has the expertise in billing processes, financial services, and account reconciliation.

What will you do as a Sr Billing Specialist or Accountant?

• Manage billing processes and ensure accuracy in invoicing
• Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues
• Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and acceptance of invoices on a monthly basis.
• Understands and ensures correct implementation of client Outside Counsel Guidelines and fee terms.
• Deal professionally and courteously with partners, attorneys, legal secretaries, accounting staff, vendors and clients of the Firm while observing confidentiality of client and Firm matters.

Who qualifies for the Sr Billing Specialist or Accountant position?

• Previous law firm experience
• Excellent math aptitude
• Experience with 3E Software a plus
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Understanding of general accounting principles as they apply to Billings and A/R
• Strong interpersonal and analytical, problem solving skills
• Great Team player and Multi-tasker

What hours will you work?

• Monday - Friday
• 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

How much will you earn as a Sr Billing Specialist?

• $82K to $95K based on experience
