Job Description
- General Information
This is for court reporting students who are in need of internship, to fulfill the school's requirement and also in preparation to take the state certification exam.
- Examples of Duties
- Sit next to a certified court reporter in the courtroom to record courtroom proceedings using a stenograph or a voice-writer machine, in accordance with court reporting school requirement.
- Coordinate all internship hours with the Court Reporting unit.
- Must check into the office, prior to entering the courtroom.
- Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Be currently enrolled in a machine or voice court reporting program.
