We are seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our dynamic litigation team focusing on clients in the bankruptcy and creditors rights area. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.


In this role, you will be responsible for interfacing with clients to ascertain their needs, be a critical thinker to choose the most appropriate course of action and have a thorough understanding of organizational goals towards always finding a solution. This position brings a diverse set of day-to-day tasks, so to be successful in this position, the individual must be research savvy and know how to utilize technology and resources provided to them to drive results and solutions for the client. 

Requirements
  • Represent clients in all phases of commercial litigation, including case evaluation, strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation working closely with senior attorneys. 
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients on case strategy and execution.
  • Manage client communications and provide timely, practical advice collaborating with senior attorneys. 
  • Stay current on legal trends and developments affecting commercial bankruptcy and creditor rights litigation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Accredited Law degree 
  • Licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania
  • 2-4 years of experience 
  • Strong writing, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organized, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and be mentored 
  • Experience with iManage software preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite expected.
