As an Artificial Intelligence & Privacy Counsel, you’ll help advise the business on privacy and AI risk, manage risk in contracts and third-party relationships, provide risk mitigation strategies, and promote our values and ethics. You will also advise business teams on privacy and AI issues involving sensitive information, data bias, human oversight, and a growing number of issues as technology and policy advance. Guided by Booz Allen’s purpose and values, together we’ll anticipate and proactively prepare for the issues we’ll encounter tomorrow. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
4+ years of experience with a law firm or in-house legal, focusing on technology, data protection, privacy, or cybersecurity
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and business leaders to develop comprehensive, business-oriented solutions to problems and tailoring subject matter input to achieve business objectives
Knowledge of artificial intelligence, large language models (LLMs), generative AI, emerging AI risk management frameworks, ethical principles, and U.S., state, and international regulatory regimes
Ability to translate technical advice into clear and direct business solutions
Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment
J.D. degree
Active bar admission with any U.S. state bar
Nice If You Have:
Experience with Federal government contracting
Experience advising on processes and procedures related to artificial intelligence governance
IAPP privacy or AI certification, such as CIPP, CIPT, CIPM, or AIGP

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $125,600.00 to $285,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
