
Nelson Mullins, an Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking an IT Technician to join our Orlando office. You will play a key role in ensuring our end-users have the hardware and support they need by managing devices, resolving technical challenges, tracking inventory, and handling asset management.

As an IT Technician in our Orlando office, you'll be at the heart of our end-user experience, tackling a dynamic range of responsibilities. You'll manage the complete lifecycle of all end-user hardware (laptops, desktops, and tablets), ensuring smooth transitions. You will also be responsible for keeping our remote offices equipped. You'll be the crucial link, interfacing with end users and IT colleagues across our network to coordinate hardware for new and departing team members. Beyond the hardware, you'll be instrumental in creating and maintaining insightful reports, assisting with audio-visual setups for seamless meetings, and stepping in to resolve escalated issues from our Help Desk, including troubleshooting dictation systems. Supporting our remote users and collaborating with our applications, security, and infrastructure teams will be part of your daily rhythm. Expect daily collaboration with applications, security, and infrastructure teams, alongside remote user support.
The ideal candidate brings proven skills in end-user hardware lifecycle management (provisioning, inventory, leased assets) and experience troubleshooting dictation/printing, supporting mobile/remote users, and basic AV. They are a team player with strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to learn and adapt, and the ability to prioritize in our tight-knit team. Must be able travel occasionally, with availability for on-call rotation. This position also requires the physical ability to crawl, kneel, push equipment, and lift objects weighing between 50 to 80 pounds, including lifting overhead.
- Experience with device provisioning/de-provisioning platforms (e.g., Intune, SCCM), OS imaging/reimaging, and mobile device management (iOS/Android).
- Experience with Active Directory (user and device management), Avaya phone systems, and Ricoh multi-function devices is preferred.
- Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot issues within Microsoft Office Suite and the Windows environment is required
