Legal Assistant / Paralegal (Entry-Level or Experienced) – Creditors’ Rights

We’re hiring full-time, in-office Legal Assistants/Paralegals who are organized, curious, and excited to learn. If you already have collections or creditors’ rights experience, even better—your experience can substitute for a degree.

What you’ll do

• Draft, proof, and format legal documents and correspondence
• Manage case files, e-file with courts, and track deadlines and hearings
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Update case management systems and spreadsheets with accurate data
• Support a busy attorney/paralegal team with day-to-day case tasks

• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort with Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to learn new systems
• A positive, self-motivated approach and the ability to meet deadlines
• Enjoyment of teamwork in a professional, high-volume environment
• Full-time, in-office availability

Education & experience

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or
• Equivalent experience in collections, creditors’ rights, mortgage servicing, banking, or related legal support will be considered in lieu of a degree
