Attorney (Tax)

Stein Sperling is seeking an experienced and motivated Attorney-CPA to join our Tax Practice Group. The ideal candidate will support and collaborate with our attorneys on a range of tax controversy and litigation support matters. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience at a reputable law firm or CPA firm.
• Excellent research, financial forensics, and attention to detail.
• Licensed to practice law in Maryland, or eligible to sit for or waive into the Maryland Bar.
• CPA designation required, or willingness to obtain the designation within the first year of employment. The firm will reimburse testing costs for candidates pursuing the credentials.
• A valuation credential (i.e., ASA, CVA, or ABV) is required or a willingness to obtain a valuation credential within the first year of employment.  The firm will reimburse testing costs for candidates pursuing the credential.
• LLM in Taxation preferred but not required.

This is an Exempt Position with an Annual Salary Range of $135,000 - $200,000
