What You’ll Be Serving Up:
Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer - KFC Global and Pizza Hut Global, this individual provides legal and strategic advice to both KFC Global and Pizza Hut Global with a focus on Center of Excellence Supply Chain Management, market roll out of Digital & Technology initiatives, global marketing initiatives, strategic legal initiatives, and master services agreements in particular.
Here’s How You’ll Spice Things Up:
- Lead negotiations of key global partnership agreements in partnership with other Functions with major vendors across multiple service industries including, supply chain, licensing, and contracts leading to the development of strategic alliances and the successful execution of key business initiatives.
- Collaborate cross functionally to direct the global policy and governance agenda for Global focusing on growth strategies, governance/standards roll outs to enhance compliance and facilitate growth.
- Manage a senior paralegal as well as external consultants, including setting their priorities and measure results while implementing best practices to drive efficiencies across the business.
What You Bring to the Table:
Education/Certifications
- Required: Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree from accredited law school and admission to the bar in home state
Experience
- Required:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience from top-tier law firm and/or comparable in-house experience.
- Strong leadership and strategic skills with a high degree of business acumen.
- Demonstrable success in working effectively across functions and with external parties to efficiently resolve complex business and risk management issues.
- Significant experience drafting and negotiating commercial and corporate contracts.
- Ability to manage people and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, executives, and external partners to establish strategic alliances and drive business initiatives.
- Preferred:
- Knowledge of franchising, digital and technology, and supply chain agreements/processes within the Food and Beverage Industry.
- General Legal background with ability to think strategically across a multitude of issue and cross-functional initiatives.
- Hands on legal expertise in drafting and negotiating agreements directly, with little supervision and within tight budgets and timelines.
- International work experience preferred.
- Franchising/commercial background preferred.
