MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Provide a wide range of support to WVUHS Employment and Litigation teams.
2. Key point of contact, responsible for calendar management, travel arrangements (when necessary), and expense reimbursement processing for attorneys.
3. Communicate timely and professionally with internal WVUHS departments regarding legal matters.
4. Draft cover letters, complete forms, prepare documents for signature, and coordinate execution and mailing or electronic filing of legal documents.
5. Provide in-person assistance to participants at mediations, depositions, meetings and other in-person events.
6. Maintain appropriate departmental filing system and departmental files ensuring ease of access in timely manner to accurate information.
7. Complete various projects related to the organization of documents, filing systems, document scanning, and management of cases.
8. Assist with drafting employment-related agreements such as severance agreements, releases and employment contracts.
9. Circulate copies of litigation documents to employment and litigation team members and other stakeholders as appropriate.
10. Support the WVUHS Legal Services Department in all matters, including support of other counsel and staff within the Department as needed.
11. Train other personnel in litigation databases as directed.
12. Organize and track files for important case documents, including pleadings and voluminous discovery documents; creating files and maintaining files in electronic case management databases.
13. Obtaining and assisting with the review and redaction of employment records and other discovery materials in response to subpoenas, records requests, and court orders.
14. Collect employment records and policies from various sources, label, organize and compile them.
