Responsibilities
About Oracle's Data Center and Networking Legal Team
The Data Center and Networking legal team within Oracle's legal department is responsible for providing legal support for complex data center and networking transactions with data center providers. Corporate Counsel works closely with Oracle executives to complete agreements between Oracle and its providers. Corporate Counsel coordinate the efforts of various internal organizations to ensure that Oracle contracts comply with company policies, and take a leadership role in defining policies, practices, and procedures within the company.
As an individual contributor in the Data Center and Networking legal team, you will join a collaborative group of attorneys with an interesting and diverse technology law practice focusing on transactions involving data center development, acquiring and leasing real property for data center development, including site selection, land use, permitting and zoning, construction contracts, the deployment of fiber connectivity, and negotiation of power purchase agreements, to support the center.
Accordingly, this position is best suited to an attorney with significant commercial negotiating and contracting experience who can manage a variety of tasks, evaluate alternatives quickly, and provide top quality legal assistance and support to executive-level clients.

Preferred Qualifications
- At least 8 years of relevant legal experience for senior corporate counsel level. People at corporate counsel level (4+ years) will also be considered. Experience should include data center leasing, construction and building.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative, and dynamic team environment.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Admission to practice law in the United States.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
